  15. In order to use Wallpaper Changer with system's they have Active 
  16. Desktop enabled, be sure you disable the option "Show Desktop as 
  17. Web content".  You can find this option simply by right clicking 
  18. on your desktop.

  20. However, if  you  have  problems  with  "transparent icons"  and 
  21. "not refreshing desktops", just  disable  the Active Desktop and 
  22. Wallpaper Changer will work fine with your system !!!

  43. Wallpaper Changer is a FREEWARE Win9x/NT4/2000 wallpaper manager that
  44. can change your background images  on every startup, once a day or at
  45. regular intervals. It features JPEG, GIF, PNG and BMP support.Several
  46. options are provided, including the  ability to change your images in
  47. random order. Your pictures can be tiled, centered or resized to full
  48. screen.  Wallpaper  Changer   can  analyze   your  picture  and  will
  49. determinate  the best matching  background and the most readable icon
  50. caption color  for  every wallpaper  you  apply  to your desktop. You
  51. can  create,  save and  reload  your  collections  of  your  favorite
  52. wallpapers. Simply  add  single  pictures  or  whole  directories via
  53. drag & drop  from Explorer or search your harddrive for all supported
  54. graphics files. Another nifty  feature is  the  ability to give  your
  55. desktop  icons  captions  a  transparent background, so  more of your
  56. wallpaper  shows  through. The  program  has  a  simple and intuitive
  57. interface to customize your desktop wallpaper conveniently. Wallpaper
  58. Changer will surely  help you mastering  hundreds of your own desktop
  59. wallpapers  in  just a  few  minutes. Wallpaper Changer  supports the
  60. Windows 9x/NT multiuser environment and doesn't have to be installed,

  86. It can't be easier to install Wallpaper Changer : you don't need to
  87. install at all. Just download the ZIP file, unzip into any directory,
  88. run WALLPAPER.EXE, click on options to customize the settings or
  89. create a icon on your desktop. Now you can easily add Wallpaper Changer
  90. to your Windows startup by clicking on [ADD TO STARTUP] button in
  91. your options menu !

  106. Wallpaper Changer is designed for 32-bit operating systems like
  107. Windows 9x and Windows NT 4.0 / 2000. Windows 3.1 or Win32s are not
  108. supported! With further versions from Windows NT, I can't guarantee
  109. the functionality, but if it's necessary, I will update this software.

  136. While I have done an extensive amount of testing with this version,
  137. it is possible that there will still be issues that I have not run
  138. across that may occur on your system.

  140. With hundreds of millions of 32-bit Windows machines, tens of
  141. thousands of applications, hundreds of peripherals, and all sorts
  142. of other variables in the mix, statistically Wallpaper Changer will
  143. probably get confused at times.
